midtownj, Both Buyer and Seller in Jersey City, NJ

Anybody know a good tool that lists multi-family homes with at least 3 units?

Asked by midtownj, Jersey City, NJ Fri May 28, 2010

Most searches I use don't give me the option of # of units. I am interested in Norther New Jersey (Bergen/Hudson counties). Thanks.

Try searching in loopnet.com. This is the largest marketplace for commercial properties including apartments.

I don't know of any way to specify 3 or more units only. The best thing to do is contact an agent who can sort them out and send you only those that are 3+ .

Thanks so far all, but I know how to get the 2-family option..

Is there a way to separate the 3+ units from the 2-unit options as I'm only interested in 3 or more units? Most of them are 2 units which I can't separate from the list.

Thanks again,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Your best bet is http://www.njmls.com, just make sure you choose 2-4 family option. You can also select number of total bedrooms in the house in case your looking for a three family with at least six bedrooms or so.

If you are looking for an investment property, then you need to know more about specific areas, taxes, average rent for 1-2 bedrooms, etc. Feel free to contact me with any questions about your specific needs.

Hi Mark:

http://www.njmls.com gives you the option of indicating specifically what type of listing you are looking for - click on the drop down menu and you will find 2-4 family homes.

Of course, I also suggest you contact a local agent who can give you listings in all the areas you are considering with complete information.

Feel free to call or email me - I would be happy to help.
