Any opinions about the Montebello development off of State Park Road for retirees. What's in the clubhouse?

Hi Bill,

Montebello is a neighborhood with home styles and amenities that can accomodate various stages of life. It's only 20 minutes from downtown Greenville, right next to the Cherrydale shopping area, and close to Paris Mountain State Park and the Pebble Creek Golf Course. It has a few different sections consisting of Italian, French Country, and Spanish style architecture, with single family and luxury condos.

The amenities include pools, tennis courts, a 4 hole putting green, and even a bocce ball court! As far as the clubhouse, its approximately 2000 sq. ft with 3 separate rooms - 1 large main room and 2 smaller side rooms, 1 kitchen, and 2 baths. Homeowners can rent out the clubhouse for about $150 for parties, events, receptions, etc.

Hope that helps - if you have any other questions please feel free to call or email me directly or visit my website and I'd be happy to help you in any way I can!

Thanks,

Sunil

Hey Mr. Patterson

As stated below Montebello is a great community! Its close to downtown Greenville, and very close to dinning and movies! I don't know if you are a golfer but there also a few courses within a 10-20 min drive from there as well, If you would like to take a look as some of the current homes for sale in Montebello go to my website http://www.myspace.com/greenvillerealty and click on the picture of the house and then click on the folder with new current homes for sale! There you will see a few homes that are on the market in that community for 2009~ Let me know if you would like more info or would like to take a look at these~

God bless

Bill,

Montebello is a beautiful community and can be a great place for retirees, depending on what you are looking for in a retirement community. My parents are in the process of retiring to the Greenville area from the Philadelphia area and are strongly considering Montebello. What they like about it, in addition to the beauty and style of the community, is that it is gated, there are a number of single-story homes available, most of the yards are small enough to maintain yet also private, it is located close to everything (retail, dining, hospitals and health care, parks, cultural arts, churches, downtown etc.) and it is a quiet neighborhood. I have sold several homes and lots in Montebello and know a number of people who have chosen to love there and they all love it. Also, I have a close friend with a wonderful lot for sale in Montebello; if you want some information on it, let me know. The clubhouse has a large reception area, a kitchen and bathrooms. As you would expect, it can be rented by residents for receptions, birthday parties, socials etc.

I hope this information helps.
