Probably no "allowance." The question is whether farm animals are put in a different classification than pets. That's either a "yes" or a "no." Check with your county's zoning office.... more

Most locals intuitively know that Hays County is a young, fast-growing and increasingly diverse community. Now, a new set of data released last month by the U.S. Census Bureau gives hard numbers to back

Good morning Maria,
Likewise I went on Austin MLS to see what was going on there and did not see too many unusual activities. The records shown that on 8/3/2006 the property was sold and that apparently the new owner put it on the market in late 2006 and later decided to lease the property in early 2007. They attempted to sell it again in 2007 but withdrawn in 4 months. On 7/19/2010 the property returned to the for sale market again only to withdrawn on 8/31/2010. This maybe why your best friend's mom thinks it was sold 3 times. Of course, there also could be other activities out of public eyes as well. In any event, to date, a FYI, the 312 Mary Cove Kyle TX property is back to the active market on 2/14/2011 as a foreclosure property. It is listed at $121,500. Let me know if you need more help :)

I used to reside in Kyle TX area and used to drive by Plum Creek neighborhood often. It is a lovely area for walking, playing golf. A friend of mine sold her home there last year because she said her husband thought the neighborhood was losing it's country feel. He was apparently referring to more new homes and neighbors arriving in the area. I myself think it's a lovely neighborhood so am very intrigued with this turnover. I am curiouse where these ppl are moving to, what their mortgages look like, and if the area has become more ethnically diverse. I currently reside 4 hrs away but will drive there on Monday to check it out. Good question Lawrence!- Liz... more
Hi Hazel, San Marcos or any place in Hays County is a safe place to call home in addition to be a great investment opportunity because of its potential growth. However you will want to have easy access to IH-35 because Austin is where a LGBT center is located. See this site: http://resources.lgbtcenters.org/Directory/Find-A-Center.aspx. Good luck!
