The Total number of Residential Home listings in the Hayden/Hayden Lake Area have actually decreased since last year when you compare 2010 to 2011 YTD.
We did have about 89 listings come on market a bit late this year (300 listings on July 1, 2011 & 389 Listings on August 28th, 2011). Many are listings that decided to go ahead and try the market again after seeing local sales increase. Others reflect the increase in Bank Owned properties coming on market.

The tax rate in Coeur d Alene differs from 'district' to 'district'.....there are different districts geographically laid out by the County.
You can figure an average of .75 to 1.1% or less of the assessed value.
It can change from year to year. We've lived here over 12 years, and moved from California. We own a house overlooking Lake Coeur d Alene, several parcels of land and several rental properties, and we are fine with the property taxes in comparison to other states that we own property in..... our Florida & Montana property taxes are much higher.
