Hi, I notice your question posted in the "home buying" section. You may need to speak with a Realtor who can help you find the home you're looking for?
Recommendation: First you'd need to figure out if you're looking to pay cash or if you might need financing..? If you need financing, you'd speak with a lender/loan officer before speaking with a Realtor. We'd help you decide the right loan product to fit your needs and make sure you qualify. Then we give you a letter. You'd then call upon a Realtor (I can help you if you need a suggestion for a buyer's agent). From there you give the Realtor your letter of approval/prequalification and ask them if they can look for a home that suits your needs (area, size, appeal and extra options). They'll give you ideas and show you different homes. Once you pick the home that fits your family's needs and sign a contract. From there the financing moves forward and you sign to close on the purchase. (Obviously there's a lot of steps for the whole process once you sign the contract but I was truly trying to keep it simple.)
If you have add'l questions that I could help you with further, I'd be happy to do so. Best wishes otherwise, Kimberly Lawson. Mortgage Loan Originator (Ohio only). Contact and licensing information can be found on my profile.... more
