Begin by visiting with any licensed loan officer to determine qualification; be aware that a mortgage pre approval letter is necessary to determine your price range and for any offers to be taken seriously. Also choose an agent to work with, he/she will be your best guide....... more
You might want to talk to an attorney and see if you have any legal right to have the roof fixed for you. It was damage from before you moved in. Because you already bought the house, you may have some issues. You might have to start looking into some companies that can repair your roof. Good luck with everything.
I think that mortgage lending is an important aspect of the economy. It allows almost anyone to have a home of their own. The problem occurs when people take on mortgages that they can't afford. That's just a general problem these days.
Get 3 bids to fix foundation and 3 bids to fix septic system, all from licensed contractors. After that, decide if the house is still worth buying despite those problems, or adjust the price you are willing to pay. If you don't have the extra cash to fix the problems you should talk to a mortgage broker and see what loan programs will give you the ability to pay for the repairs. Or you could ask the seller to do these repairs prior to closing.
Not only do I live in Royal Lakes community, but my step son actually works at the Royal Lakes golf course. The course and clubhouse are wonderful. They tend to have live music on Friday evenings for a fun social at the clubhouse pub and restaurant. There are two dining areas; one is more pub casual, while the other offers a fantastic more upscale menu and dining experience with amazing views of the lake and course itself. I also have a 12 year old son who has plenty of children to play with! If you have any other questions at all, please let me know. I may also be able to guide you to view some additional homes within the community that are not yet on the market!
I look forward to your reply.
