You may be interested to know the Government and the Banks have created websites for the public to use for FREE and to have current updated information about the Properties/Foreclosures/REO's available and information about the Process they use, available programs ect..

Getting financing on unimproved land is always extremely difficult regardless of your credit scores etc. unless you're purchase were to include a home being built or possibly a double wide being placed on a permanent foundation as part of the purchase. New credit scoring rules are bing put into effect that will definitely help you as medical bills will not count as negatively as they have in the past. These rules are being phased in; I'm not certain exactly when this year they may go into effect. You can Google "New FICO score rules for more information.
