Zachary,
If you haven't already received any information on this, I'd love to help you out. I actually live and work in Brenham as a Realtor Associate for Coldwell Banker Properties Unlimited. While we deal mostly with selling/buying of property we do also list rental property. The rental market in Brenham is pretty tight and there is not a huge amount of inventory. Even apartments fill up pretty quickly.
If you are still interested in checking out some listings, let me know. I'd like to get more specifics from you such as number of bedrooms, baths, garage, price range and that sort of thing so we can narrow it down.
Look forward to working with you.
Pam Green
Zachary,
The prices do not change if you request the information from a Realtor. Realtors do not handle that many Apartments but do some and do the homes for sale and for rent. There are also homes for rent by owner.
Contact a Realtor, sign a buyers representation but add in the special provisions that if you find a rental that is not handled by another Real Estate firm that the contract will be null and void that it only pertains to the purchase of any Real Estate or Rental of Real Estate that is offered by another Real Estate firm.
When you and the Seller, lessor try go it alone you are both trying to save a commission and the price ends up being higher for you and the representation lower. So check the paper and find a Realtor.
Good Luck
Margaret

Try not to avoid the unaviodable. If there is a list an agent has it. Contact an agent in that area. Or if you want to go it alone the local paper has a classified section I'm sure.
