Hi Jake,
As a few people have already mentioned, it depends what you are looking for in a home. Our celebrity clients seem to favor Miami Beach waterfront living or the the South Gables/Pinecrest/Grove areas.
Here is a link to a map of Miami's most elite neighborhoods (this is based on per capita income)

Hi Jake,
There are many wonderful neighborhoods within the Miami area that are considered to have "expensive" real estate. The good news is that all properties including luxury properties are "on sale" now. Shaquille Oneal's house just sold in Miami Beach for $16 million and he had paid $18 million for it. We have boating communities, beach communities, golfing communities, high rise condominiums and luxurious estate homes. Some of the luxury areas are: Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Fisher Island, Pinecrest, Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. I am a "Previews Property" specialist and would be happy to help you find your dream home here in Miami.
Hi Jake,
Other areas with expensive homes include Key Biscayne, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Aventura, even Fisher Island - it depends on how expensive and fancy you want to go. And the previous answer hit the nail on the head - it all depends on your preferences and lifestyle as to which of those areas might suit you best. If you want some help narrowing things down feel free to call or email. Thanks!

Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Miami Beach... there are several neighborhoods. It depends on what specifically you are looking for. More sedate, suburban living--waterfont, ocean, nightlife?
Give me more detail and I'll steer you in the right direction.
