I live in East Norwalk and I love it here! The proximity to Calf Pasture Beach as well as the train makes this neighborhood ideal. People also love Rowayton which is a gorgeous little beach community along the 5 Mile River near the Darien border. If you prefer a bit more property, you may find Cranbury more to your taste. If you prefer a more metropolitan feel, then South Norwalk is your best bet. Norwalk has it all!

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

If you are looking for an area with fairly reasonable slips and nice house, please let us help you. For information on crime, I would suggest contacting the local police department to get a sense of problems in the last couple of years. There are web sites that can be quite alarmist.
