I was actually wondering the same thing. Top concern is school district. Next would be lot size.

I would suggest first getting a solid preapproval. Once you know your price range, start driving the areas that have homes priced within that range. You'll narrow your search rather quickly and from that point you'll feel more comfortable about your decision. Good luck with your search. Good morning. As Realtors we are restricted by law to comment on what neighborhoods are more desirable than others. What we can do is send you links to websites, such as those for the schools, Town information and updates for recent sales. If you could send me some information as to what your needs are and the price range you are comfortable in, I can further assist you.
My husband and 2 generations before grew up in Norwalk. My husband is an established physician in the community. We know Norwalk and as a whole it is desirable because of it's proximity to NY and the water.
Just one more thought; No one can promise you returns on your investment in this present economic climate. BE Thoughtful. candylipira@optonline.net

The desirability of neighborhoods is totally subjective. What are your objectives? Closeness to train? to Westport? to a southern commute? to new canaan? Norwalk has so much to offer from it's lofts in Sono to its condos everywhere to more traditional homes with small or larger pieces of land. And, too, price is a consideration. If you would like to schedule time to meet to discuss your objectives and go see some properties, please call me at 203-451-3455 or email randi@huttonrealestate.com ). Thank you.
