JOSEPH RUNFOLA JR, BROKER, GRI’s answer
Again NJ, I advise start with one of HUD’s approved housing counselors in your area. HUD sponsors housing counseling agencies throughout the country that can provide advice on buying a home, renting, defaults, foreclosures, and credit issues. If you are facing foreclosure, foreclosure avoidance counselors are also available. HUD approved counselors are offering the most current and valuable advice to their clients. (800) 569-4287.

Every person You call will sell you their product. If You are a 1st time buyer I will recommend you call someone that knows the lates deals such as the lower rates for your FICO and income to debt ratio. Every bank has slighty different rates for each individual. Some banks actually have 1st time buyer grants "in-house". I know this attorney that runs 1st time buyer seminars. He also will give you advise over the phone at no charge,

There are no strings attached and if and when you find a property you want and You benefited from the info you were given than you can hire him to close your deal.

Send him an email at SuttonLegal@me.com, His name is Adam Sutton and he is the best person I have met dealing in the RE loan industry.

If you haven't done so, visit with any qualified loan officer(s) first--see if you qualify and how much, then go from there--if you need recommendations feel free to contact me directly.
