Rocky Mountain Regional (formerly Jeffco BJC) is also near 80516 (Erie). There is also a private residential airpark, Parkland Estates (7CO0), in Erie. If you are looking at residential airparks, there is another one on the North end of the Denver metro area - Van Aire is located in Brighton, just barely outside DIA's Class B airspace.

Bradley,

With over 75 airports statewide, I have delineated your question into (3) parts. Also I have given examples of the most relevant airports in proximity to Erie, below:

Commercial Service Airports: Through direct or connecting flights these airports link Colorado with the nation and the world i.e., Denver Centennial (APA) and Denver Int'l (DIA).

Reliever Airports: Airports that alleviate airspace congestion and operation levels in the metropolitan areas around Denver and Colorado Springs i.e, Boulder (KBDU) and Fort Collins/Loveland (KNFL).

General Aviation Airports: 63 airports in the State are devoted to general aviation use to the local communities that they serve i.e., Erie Municipal Airport (KEIK).

I hope that this is of some help to you. You can also use the link below to find many other options in your surrounding area.

Happy Flying!
