sons went to manasquan high and my younger son went to belmar elementary, which i thought had great teachers who cared and were involved . It is a great area as you mentioned for the biking, and it gives the teen mobility without a car they can walk, ride or take a train to any of the neighboring towns, and my older son started going into NYC to galleries when he was a teen ager he is now living in the city, graduated from carnegie mellon, and working in the art world. Belmar is sandwiched between two expensive towns avon and springlake, which i think the real estate will only go up since they are doing this incredible riverwalk, and renovations. you can still find a house for a reasonable price. It's a great place for kids to grow up, thats why i picked it and it was a good area for me to also be mobile, you can be at the beach in seconds, and be in NYC by train in 1 1/2 hours or the airport in less time. PS this is a great web sight. Thank you Michelle, Belmar resident
Hi Michelle,
Thanks for posting and sharing. Did you mean your comments to be directed to this inquiry? Whether that was your intent, or not, it was great feedback for this thread, so I posted this as a link there. FYI
