The easiest way is to go to your counties web site, go to the assessor's tab. You should have the ability to look up the property address and then sales data which will show you the most recent sales.

As a real estate professional we also have that data available to us so you can reach out to me as well

Hi there! Great question. If there is recent sales activity (going back 10 - 12 years) the county assessor may have that information. Please keep in mind if the property has not 'sold' - is still in the ownership of the original builder/owner, there will be no sales record.

Additionally, as has been mentioned, a final sales price is confidential until the property sale has successfully closed.

As a real estate agent, I have several sources of 'recent sold' activity and can also research any property for its respective sales history. Thanks!

These sales are recorded; usually the county has them and they can be accessed through your computer. Your real estate agent will also help you. Remember, however, that the realtor cannot disclose the sale price or details until the actual closing has taken place. Your best resource? Your own agent, the one you have a written agreement with, the one who is bound by law and contract to act in your best interests, while protecting the interests of all involved in a transaction according to the letter of the law and the code of ethics. I'm not sure why you might need that information except as how it relates to a real estate transaction of some kind. Perhaps you are trying to refinance or you may be considering putting your home on the market and want to know how feasible it is right now. In our market, the most ACCURATE way of determining that info is to either go to the tax records for each county (some list the most recent sale prices and some don't) or contact a local REALTOR who may be willing to assist you with that information.
