Areas that come to mind rural "farm country" towns near Flower Mound would be Double Oak, Copper Canyon, Argyle, Bartonville, and Justin. Double Oak has a nice country feel but
still close to everything including shopping and great schools. Contact me if you have

Larry I live 15 miles from the Pennsylvania grand canyon . Part if my issue moving is missing our landscape. We visit Killeen area and I cringe at the thought of no hills or landscape..

Danielle: I grew up in PA. and went to college in Edinboro on 6N and know the beautiful countryside that you call home with the Grand Canyon of the East and the Allegheny National Forest nearby. Here in the Great State of Texas we have several areas that have rolling hills, lakes and rural farm land such as Aubrey, Ponder, Double Oak, and Argyle which are close by to Flower Mound. This area is blessed with the wide variety of home communities and nearby lakes. Please let me know how I can assist you and your family with your big decision in moving to Texas. You can visit my website to secure community and school information and preview homes.

Danielle. The Dallas/Ft Worth area topography is in no way like PA. There are country views and definetly the country feel in surrounding locations. I would be honored to send you pictures or answer any questions.

Danielle, the closest "farm country" towns would be Argyle, Justin, and Ponder. I noticed you were looking at apartments. There will not be any apartment complexes in these areas. Let me know if you need anything else.

There are quite a few rural areas, even pockets of Flower Mound have some farms left. I would be honored to assist you with any further questions.
