Hi Jan,

While I don't know of any communities in Boynton Beach that provide transportation there is an arrangement between the Mae Volen center and BB that they will provide transportation to seniors 60 and older. I have copied details from the city web site

Transportation for Seniors: The Mae Volen Center provides transportation for seniors age 60 and up. There is no charge for rides to meal sites (of which the Boynton Beach Senior Center is one). Before your first ride, you must register by calling the Mae Volen Transportation Office (736-3820). The call will take about 10 minutes. Be prepared to provide information about yourself such as your name, address, and phone number. Once you have registered, you must call one working day in advance for your appointment before 3 p.m. The best time to call is between 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The transportation fee is $3.00 one way, $6.00 round trip. Trips can be scheduled for grocery shopping, the mall, the bank, or the library. Transportation can also be arranged to take you to your physician’s office.

Hope this is helpful.

I cannot think of any communities specifically in Boynton Beach that offer residents transportation amenities. In Delray Beach there's Kings Point and the Villages of Oriole development (Bonaire, Huntington Lakes, Abbey, etc.) offers residents bus service several times a week on a limited basis. And, of course, Century Village in Boca Raton and WPB have buses that will get you just about anywhere you need to go.

Give me a call if you would like further info on any of these communities.

In addition to Kings Point in Delray, Lakes of Delray also offers courtesy buses.
