Which neighborhood has the best apartments for a renter with an entry-level salary?
I'm looking for a neighborhood that complies with my golden 3: safety, affordability, and delicious food!

FIRST ANSWER
Finding a roommate may be your best bet.
Little biased, but I prefer Cole Valley since I have lived in the neighborhood for the last coupe of years.
Safe, quaint and close to everything; GG Park, Haight Ashbury, Cole Valley and Inner Sunset restaurants and a simple MUNI stop to everywhere in the city.
