Wrigley was one of the first communities to be established in Long Beach. The neighborhood was first developed in 1905. The town received its name from William Wrigley, the owner and founder of the well-known Wrigley Spearmint Gum Corporation in Chicago.
The answer to the question has been done. I would like to add that this neighborhood is a nice neighborhood mixed with other areas that someone might find questionable. But I have found that the homes in this neighborhood are reasonable, affordable and a good neighborhood for first time buyers. The homes are mixed but lots of spanish architecture. If you go to the Northern part of the Wrigley neighborhood, North of Williow, the area is nicer.
