I actually found a good spot recently, Brick House Tavern, which is great for many things, but also has delicious artisan pizzas. Below is an example from their menu:
kobe brick pizza* 11
marinara, american kobe beef, brick cheese,
caramelized onions, oven roasted tomatoes,
crispy bacon & arugula

"We believe pizza and beer belong together. Our belief is so strong that we have decided to conserve the grains from every batch of hand crafted ale and incorporate them into our agave-sweetened spent grain pizza dough. Our artisan pizza will be served crispy on the outside, while remaining sweet and chewy inside. Spent grain pizza is also available in thin crust!"
There are a few in town but the best of the bunch is in the King Soopers shopping center on the SE corner of Iliff and Buckley.
It's called Mama Alvino's Pizza. Just go in and sit. Order at the window. Pay at the window. Don't expect service except for them delivering it to the table. Save a lot of time that way.

Good Pizza - not good service. All the good places are out of business
Armando's at 5428 S Parker Rd best in 80015 that I know of.
Jonny's Pizza seems to head the list. Great choice. I can think of a better one I would recommend over this; but try them all. Pizza is an individual choice.
