The Nestling Wood subdivision is a well-located, pleasant neighborhood with lovely homes. Most lots are 1 acre or less. It is easily accessible to a Rt 80 commute, and not bad via Rt 78 . Bus commute is 1/12 hr to NY, and train commute is about 1 hr. Prices and taxes are moderate for the area. Schools are highly rated. Excellent recreation facilities and programs abound. A beautiful library is within a few miles of the subdivision. I live in Long Valley, Washington Twp., Morris County, the location of this subdivision. If you need a realtor, I am an award-winning veteran agent and will guarantee top-notch service.

Hi Matt,
That's Spring Acres. Conventional suburban development in Washington Twp. Values in Washington Twp have plummeted in the past year, a combination of the poor economy and high gas prices. Washington Twp is a more remote than other towns in Morris County. Fairly good drive to a highway before you even start your commuting. The median in Washington Twp over the past year is down to $392,000 from $530,000 during the same time last year. Pretty shocking. You might want to wait for the dust to settle before jumping in. Their may be further price erosion before the bottom is reached in "exurb" locations in Western Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties.

Nestling Wood section is a lovely residential neighborhood in Long Valley AKA Washington Twp,Morris Cty.
The development called Nestling Woods is also referred to as Spring Acres or Wooded Valley. Most of the homes in the development consist of the colonial style, built in the 80's and set on about 3/4 of an acre lots. If you are not familiar with Long Valley and are looking to buy....I suggest you check it out. The town is known for its great schools and beautiful pastoral views. Prices are down....Great time to buy!
