What's the current per square foot rate to build a good quality colonial (3000 sq feet) in Wilton (or Weston, Easton, Ridgefield)? Thanks

I would say the cost per square foot of a high end home can range from $ 500 up to $800 per square foot. Obviously depending on how high end the materials are and the high quality of the craftsmanship used to do build the house.

Hi, Lisa Jones here, with a response to your building cost question. This is a loaded question due to the variables, but here's the general rule of thumb:
Modular $80sqft
Basic construction in FFLD County w/out appliances, fixtures...$250 -$300 sq ft
Higher end construction/architecturally superior w/ finer materials, windows & finishing $400+
Then you can always bang it out of the park with the best up to $1000sqft with Wadia!
Call me for great recommendations or to find out about some quality homes not yet finished that are available now!
I always answer the call at 203-218-6664.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hello,

I am a local Realtor/Broker and have worked with many new home construction sales/builders and general consensus says that a fair price per square foot in the areas you are talking about can range from $200 - 5 or 600/s.f., depending of course, on the choices of the particulars. I would be happy to recommend a couple of experienced, good quality home builders if you would like a couple of referrals.

Kind regards, Linda

Most new construction is the towns you mentioned start at 4000 or more sq ft for single family homes.
This is an example of an active listing 3825 Sq Ft built in 2009 price per sq ft $303

Relocating,
I just did a qucik survey in the towns you mentioned.
Easton is the cheapest but has the highest property taxes.
The range per sq ft. is $249-$675.
Please let me know if you need some help with finding a new home or building a new construction in the area.
I work with a few great builders on a regular basis who build a great home.
