I live off of Cougar Mountain Way and I just love this area. Lots and lots of nature trails, parks are in the neighborhood along with well maintained streets and properties. We had an incredible neighborhood block party this past Sunday with live music, activities for the kids as well as great food!. What a great way to meet all the neighbors. Having lived within this area for the past 30 years, I can tell you this is the best neighborhood I've found! It is close proximity to I-90 as well as lots of side roads to travel. There's a great mix of townhomes as well as estate sized homes. Newcastle Golf Course is just a few minutes west of here and skiing just an hour away. Lake Sammamish State Park is just down the hill within 15 minutes.

First off is the public uses of the area make it popular. Drawing people from around the area for the trails, the zoo, Timberland Lake, etc. You also have the Golf Club at Newcastle. All this surrounded by higher priced real estate. Many of them have larger lots, larger homes, with incredible views of Bellevue, Seattle, and/or the Cascades everything done with great finish work. Combine all that with the easy access to Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, a nearly direct shot downtown via I - 90 into Seattle , then another easy access to the mountains for recreational activity. Then there is the easy access to the airport as well straight down 405. You have people from all places considering it as there next home. Cougar Mountain is just a prime spot to be with so many places to visit, views to be had, and easy shopping access.
