There is not 'typical', this is not a cookie cutter stucco community, lots of beautiful vintage custom homes.

HI Chris, Pomona is the border city between Los Angeles County and San Bernardino county and that is a plus. Goes from the 60 FWY where you have Phillip Ranch with big newer more expensive homes, this is a great community. Then going north you have an area that is less expensive with older one story homes and many condos ( these are less expensive and smaller; most 2 stories) 3bd 1 or 2 baths. is the most common floor plan, with 1 or 2 car garage. Here you find its down town area. Above the 10 fwy from Garey to the LA County Fair area you can find gorgeous (from around 40s-70s) homes most of them were built for the Pomona Valley Hospital personnel, big houses with big backyards. As you go east North Pomona gets smaller and borders Claremont and La Verne two cities that help the value of the Pomona homes. These houses vary in size and many (not all) are one story 3-4 bd. and 2 ba. with 2 car garages and good size backyards. I have one for sale there and got full price offers from the 2nd day I posted it for above its median value. Around the main streets you find many condos and apartment/multi-unit buildings; If you want to buy one its a great area to have properties and if you want to buy a condo always ask for the assoc. fees.. In Pomona you find all sort of prices for the homes. From the lowest to the highest. It is just an excellent location.

Pomona is an old city. There are homes that were built at the turn of the 20th century and some mid-century homes as well. What is it that you are looking for exactly? The question is very vague. Someone can spend a very long time trying to answer it not knowing what you are looking for. There are 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms, 4 bedrooms, duplex, triplex and fourplexes, condos, townhouses, etc.
