Lakewood and Panther Ridge
That's right, there are 2 Curlews. One is in Panther Ridge south of SR 70 and the other one is South of Clark and East of I75. The one with the 34221 zip is a cute little street located close to a very nice park and quite a few of the homes there have horses.

You asked two questions. First Curlew St 34241 is located in Lakewood NOT Lakewood Ranch. Just East of I-75 and South of Clark Road in Sarasota. Two listings are on Curlew St 34241. One for $579,000 and another on Curlew St for $985,000. $475,00- $1,500,000 for general area which include acreage and very nice homes in this area. Check with Sarasota School board to be sure of exact schools if you have children, if that's your desire. Not a correct statement to claim Lakewood Ranch as best. That is most likely Panther Ridge-just east of Lakewood Ranch, but with Lakewood Ranch School Districts. I only know that becasue I happened to just look up a house for one of my clients on Curlew-it was listed in the mid-800's. This particular home had previously been listed in the high-900's.
Prices have come down in there a good bit and there are many owner's looking to make a deal.
It is a VERY Upscale neighborhood, being gated and really well-manicured but the homes are on big lots, 1-5 acres! It's for people that want to be in a "subdivsion" with similiar homes around them and some limitations on what you can and can't do, aka, deed restrictions, but they also want a good bit of land and some elbow room. This neighborhood is also afforded the luxury of Lakewood Ranch's Schools, which are far superior to others in the area.
34241 Covers different neighborhoods, among them Lake Sarasota, Heritake Oaks. A street number would help but it seems that it would be Lakewood. The average price is around $330-$340K. Closed homes starts in the $275,000 with majority of them in the $320-$340K. OF course the price range goes up to over $1,000,000. These days an asking price may be 10% different ( less) from the selling price.Sarasota has help up pretty well is one of the strongest markets in Florida so the deals are not as frequent as elsewhere.
