Is it isolated or quaint? Cool little town or just plain boring? And how are the High School(s) and community colleges?
It is wonderful place to raise a family. Great neighborhoods, friendly people. We moved in from Dublin, OH 9 years ago and didn't feel like an "outsider" the way other smaller communities can make you feel. They did just build some stores (Kohl's, Menards, etc) and have Starbucks!
Hi,
Quaint, but much less isolated. I had just read something referring to Lancaster as one of the fastest growing cities in Ohio. Not a tremendous range of community colleges at this time, but OU-L comes to mind which is Ohio University's Lancaster campus. Many students find educational opportunities at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio as well as driving to Columbus.
If interested in a small gated community just 12 miles south of Lancaster, Ohio, feel free to stop by my web site below. You'll find school reports for the area there.
It is quaint. It is less isolated now.Consult the state department od education website for school rankings. People appear to be happy to live there, and it appears to have a good future for growth.
