There real questions should be "What's Brooklyn not known for?"

You name it, we have it, theaters, landmarks amustment, shopping, ect.
New Yorker Magazine called Brooklyn "The New Manhattan".
In my personal opinion, we had them beat a long time ago...
It's just that nobody notced till now.

I like Brighton Beach. It gives me a chance to enjoy the Russian food I like as well as practice my basic Russian. Many of the street signs are in Cyrillic characters. The language on the streets is Russian. Brighton Beach Aveune is lined with shops selling Russian food, book, videos and a lot more. If it wasn't for the train I might think I was in Moscow. As I have two daughers adopted from Russia it has a special place in my heart.

Abu, do you EVER answer anything here with more than a one line answer? You look obsessed to get a VIP badge. Doesn't say much for the way you do business.

Wow, what is Brooklyn known for? Well to start the people in Brooklyn are awesome. They come from all walks of life from all over the world. Which leads me to the food. From the great pizza to the amazing restaraunts in Bay Ridge, Park Slope et al. Then the amazing housing inventory available. In one neighborhood you have Brownstones, the next victorians, to new waterview condos. We have it all. Hope to see you soon.

Variety of life and diversity of people. Don't like the look of a neighborhood, go another block or two and it will change. I enjoyed living in Howard Beach for several years and being near Jamaica Bay.
