What if my mail was sent to the wrong address and ended up in an unsold home, how do I get it back?

Auna,

Are you sure no one is living there? I would knock on the door at different times just to check. You can also go to http://www.sfgov.org and check the Assessor's records to find the new owner if there is one and contact them. Or use the other suggestions below.

Good luck,
Sally

How do you know it is in the "unsold" home?
Definately contact the listing agent or company on the sign and make arrangements to have the mail inside the house sorted and ask for any of your mail to be put into your slot.
Easily done. Just another full service Realtor.

If you know that your mail is missing you might want to contact the sender and have them send it again.

Try to contact the listing agent and ask them to retrieve your mail. If they no longer have the listing, they might still have a key, or at the very least should be able to put you in touch with the sellers.

If you don't know how to contact the listing agent, email me the address. If that doesn't work, you might have to contact the U.S. Post Office.

Good luck,
