What are your thoughts on Smith Park? Short term, long term, any term. Just curious about what the experts have to say. Thanks.

The Patch, or Smith Park--whatever you choose to call it--seems like a pretty neat little neighborhood. It also seems to have enough of what is important nearby: relatively safe (I guess?), nice homes, family-oriented, a new Dominick's up the street, good eats on Chicago, and a fun little park as the cherry on the sundae. What are the downsides? What are your opinions? Any comparable areas a little closer to the city? Or is it something that is completely unique? Just making some conversation...thanks!

check out a few of these web addresses that talk about the Patch...

I am wondering what exactly you are looking for, because then putting all your requirements and wishes together we could potentially come up with area information for you.... Also what type of property you are looking for,and your price range and size of home and why did you think about the Patch in the first place It always depends on what it is that YOU want in your neighborhood to decide where to buy, for some it is close to transportation, for others close to school, for others close to downtown or close to work etc. etc., For when it comes to your question of safe I would suggest to check the police blotter, and check out the neighborhood amenities time permitting....

Take care and good luck in your home search!
