I am from South Ravalli County, about 1.5 hours south of Missoula. I enjoy living and working down here because of the unique people you meet. There is also tons of recreation close by with several wilderness areas a heartbeat away for fishing, hunting, hiking, lakes for swimmiing, mountains for climbing. hills for skiing. If you like being a distance away from the big city of Missoula (:-) this is the place to be!

Big Sky country! Missoula is a hub for Western Montana. In the valley we have around 65,000 residents. If you include surrounding areas we are just over 100,000. We have the "big city" appeal, with the country flair! We have arts and entertainment sourrounded by gorgeous mountains and wildlife. The outdoor activitis are endless and we have two national parks within a few hours drive. If you like water, mountains, and the outdoors, the possibilities are endless!

The last best place! I was born and raised here in Missoula, MT. I left for about 6 years to go to college and work, but ended up back home because I missed it so much. The outdoor possibilities are endless: hiking, biking, swimming, boating, floating, skiing (water, x-country, downhill), rock climbing, and beautiful places to explore. If you enjoy fresh air and gorgeous scenery, MT is the place for you!

I live in Kalispell and LOVE the outdoors as well. The mountain views are amazing and we are within 30 mintues of 3 amazing landmarks, Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake and Whitefish Mountain Resort. I love how nice people are. That is actually one of the main reasons we moved here 13 years ago from Seattle. The growing economy is great for business and tourism draws people that like to purchase vacation or investment homes here. Great place!

In short...the great outdoors. I guess it's all abhout what you like to do. I live in Bozeman and love the mix of MSU, downtown, sense of community, and the location to all the fishing, trails, and whatever else you like to do outdoors.
