Good Day,

Thank you for asking about Jacksonville!

Jacksonville and Duval County are the same in land area! Choices of a home site are wide spread. The best thing to do is select the type of home and community style and work with a real estate agent to find your home.

It is easy!

Jacksonville is a consolidated city.... in other words the city and county are one entity. With that said there are numerous areas within the county and bedroom communities like Julington Creek, Orange Park, Sawgrass/Ponte Vedra, World Golf Village etc ... all of these are outside Duval County but within commuting distance of the city.... If you are employed in the Southside area, such as Southpoint, it is a relatively easy commute. There are many housing options when you take these additional areas into consideration that have some really nice AND affordable housing developments. I would love to answer any additional questions you have.... shoot me an email.

Good luck!

Jacksonville is a hodgepodge of little mini-cities (suburbs) w/ very different personalities, all under the umbrella of "Jacksonville". We have areas known as Southside, Arlington, Mandarin, San Marco, Riverside, etc. Often, each zip code feels like an entirely different city. Our downtown is a working downtown, with many different corporations. It is not a residential area, w/ the exception of a handful of condo buildings.
