There are 3 separate associations: Haile Plantation Association, Haile Plantation West, and Haile Village Center Owner's Association. The last is the most expensive because they maintain fairly intense infrastructure (streets, drains, etc) and they do an awful lot of other maintenance. Tree trimming and leaf pick-up come to mind. Haile Plantation Association was limited in size by some rule in effect when it was developed. Their fees are a set basic, and each neighborhood decides what they'd like done extra. One may trim trees up to 15 feet and another may choose to paint exteriors-- there are a lot of home-style choices from cottages, attached, and single homes. This year, a number of neighborhoods are installing nicer entry signs. Haile West has a basic due of about $90/quarter. Some neighborhoods only pay that, based on what amenities are available. Neighborhoods with parks, large mowed areas, private streets, and islands that need additional maintenance will pay an additional amount, set by each neighborhood. Budgets and financials should be available to potential buyers by contacting Haile Management at 352.335-7848

We just closed on a home and condo in Haile Plantation yesterday and just listed another home today.

Hampstead Park is part of Haile Plantation and Haile Plantation West...the front yards are maintained by the association. Their maintenance fee is $204.89/quarter. We closed on Storeys Round same association and the fees are $129.95 / quarter. Plantation Villas condo association does everything, it is a PUD, assoc dues run $302.60/quarter. Hope this helps... Many of the homes do not have it where the association maintaines their front yards and the fees are less, but if you dont want the hassle it is convenient for them to do the work and maintain the grounds.

No particular house in mind. I have heard that the front yard is cut in certain areas. I was just looking for a rough estimate of what the typical fee is for a house that you do all the yard maintenance on.

I have found that there is NO standard fee for Haile Plantation. There are two subdivisions also. The fees will vary depending on which sub division you live in, and which association you are in. If you are in Haile Plantation West or Haile Plantation it also will be different. Which sub division/home are you looking at in particular. If you go onto the public MLS search for Alachua County you can find this information on the MLS sheets provided. If you need help finding these sites, let us know..

The fees for Haile Plantation depend on the Area you are in. Anywhere from 80 to 200 per month would be a good rule of thumb. If you have something in Mind, give me an address and I'll look it up and let you know.
