Daniel,
Washington National Golf in South King County is a nice community. If you want to be in an urban environment Broadmoor is a very old established, expensive community minutes to downtown Seattle.

Hi Daniel,

Check out the communities of Tapps Island on Lake Tapps and Meridian Valley on Lake Meridian. Both are very family oriented and both are built around a lake and a golf course. Meridian Valley Country Club is a gated community and the club is private. Tapps Island is protected by a gate guard as you come onto the island. The whole island is a country club setting with all amenities private to the residents, but the course is open to the public. It's well worth checking out!

Check out the following link for more information or these areas and to search more homes:

Might I recomend the Plateau Club in Sammamish or perhaps Sahalee. Both clubs are located in the city of Sammamish. Which is a short distance to Redmond, Bellevue or Issaquah. Sahalee is rated as one of the top 100 corurse in America...oh and by the way Sammamish was ranked as 11 in Money Magizine as one of the best citys to live.

I think it is important to not forget Mill Creek in this mix! Mill Creek is a a great North Seattle suburb with a golf course and walking trails nestled right in the community.

Look into the Sand Point Country Club located in NE Seattle. It's a great neighborhood with a beautiful golf course and remodeled facilities with tennis courts, pools and dining. The views are terrific!

There are many in the greater Seattle region. My favorite is Echo Falls Country Club. Just east of Woodinville with a country flavor, this community was host of the Street of Dreams some years back. We moved there when our youngest son wanted more freedom and it was wonderful. The streets are wide with sidewalks, there is a wonderful park, swimming pool and clubhouse with a great restaurant.
The golf course is challenging and living in the community allows you to participate in wonderful seasonal activities, such as the golf cart decorating at Halloween, night golfing, Santa visiting and more.

Depending on what area of Seattle you want...one of my favorites is the Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville. It has easy access to 520 and Redmond as well as an easy drive to Woodinville and wine country. Beautiful homes and great landscaping also make this community. You are close enough to the city for conveniance yet in the more wooded, rural area of Woodinville.

I would highly recommend this country club depending on your needs. I hope that helps...talk to a realtor who really knows the area that you are interested in though to see exactly what your option are!
