Hi Cathy,

The approximate two-square mile area lying north of Northwest Highway, south of Walnut Hill Lane, east of Midway Road and west of Preston Road remain the essential original boundaries of Preston Hollow, which is often now termed "Old Preston Hollow."

The boundaries of Preston Hollow as defined by the schools the children attend is land to the north of Northwest Highway (Loop 12), south of Forest Lane, east of Midway Road and west of North Central Expressway (US 75).

Hope that helps,
Terri

The line skews in a few places of what is actually considered Preston Hollow, however, Wikipedia which I've attached to this answer has a great map that shows the actual boundaries of the original Preston Hollow. I work Preston Hollow quite frequently, and I'm always happy to define a search for you.

The actual boundaries for Preston Hollow as far east as North Dallas Tollway, as far north as 635, as far west as Luna Road, and as far south as Northwest Highway; the boundaries do extend slightly on both north and south sides as outlined here: http://link.oevae.com/Preston-Hollow-Real-Estate

Cathy, several other licensees/ Brokers have answered your question, referencing schools. Is that what you are asking?
If not, many people in Dallas incorrectly use the "generalization" of the area that is: South of LBJ, North of Northwest Highway, east of the Toll Road, and west of Central Expressway as "Preston Hollow."
Marsh Lane is not in Preston Hollow.
There are maps online that will show you the actual Preston Hollow neighborhood. The link from Peter is one referenced commonly. Some of the most prime pieces of land within Old Preston Hollow are actually west of the Toll Road and East of Inwood, south of Walnut Hill.

There are no official boundries that I know of now. There was at one time a city of Preston Hollow, but was annexed by Dallas long ago...maybe 50 years or so. Rough area is 75 to Midway and Forest to NW Hwy. That's for the area, not for the school boundries not PH Elementary.
