We are thinking to move to Loxahatchee, can someone tell me how the town is, the people. I am hispanic with a
husband and two kids, and I would like to know if there is any problems with hispanics in that area. I am a nurse and my husband is a civil engineer, I would like to know more about the area.

Loxahatchee is great! I live in the Acreage, (I am a Realtor) my kids attend the schools and play sports, and my wife works at one of the schools. The schools in the Acreage are mostly all "A" schools. All the lots are approx. 1 acre. It is nice because you can have your privacy. There is a Publix with some stores and there is also a Winn-Dixie. Other than that, it is rural.

Maria, It's disheartening to see that good people like you and your family have to worry about anti-Latino bigotry. Of course, federal law says you can purchase a home anywhere and it's illegal for realtors to steer homebuyers to or away from neighborhoods based on race/ethnicity.
My advice is for you and your family to visit Loxahatchee; spend some time there; visit some of the shops; village hall; talk to some of the people; pick up local papers and read about the local issues; and if you can, stop by the local schools and talk to some of the staff and parents. In others words, feel the place out. Does the place feel right for you and your family? Can you see yourself living there? If so, call 3 local realtors and have them compete for your business. Make clear what you're looking for, and what you expect from your agent. Good luck. PS Would a recommended real estate agent help you? If so, contact me through the attached link.
