WE are moving to Greenville, SC and have 2 young children who will be starting school soon. What areas are?

the best areas for schools and a return on your investment if we move again in the next 5 years? If there are specific subdivisions or streets please advise.

Kim,
I have no house to sell nor do I sell real estate. I am just a homeowner and parent who happened to stumble upon this website.
Please look in the Simpsonville area aound highway 14 (I suppose they call this area the "Five Forks area lately) Tons of new homes being built, lots of young families, and easy access to I-385 and I-85. Elementary schools to consider include Bethel and Oakview. Both are excellent. My kids both attended Bethel and had a great elementary experience.

Hi Kim- from Indiana,

My name is Aris and I am with Allen Tate Realtors we have a great web site (www.AristotleMendez.com) that you can log on to. It is full of great information~ schools, subdivision, tax info and the best part is you can just click on the "Buyers Link 1st To Know" at your convenience with no commitment or hassles and get up date information on the homes and areas that you will consider as interest. Then when you are ready, you can send me an email so that I can show you all that Greenville SC has to offer.

We love to help you find your perfect home! "A Realtor That Works For You"

Good morning. I am a teacher in the public schools and taught in Greenville County for some time. I love the Taylors area and their schools. Especially, Taylors Elementary which feeds into Wade Hampton. Eastside High School is also fabulous. Greenville County gives parents the choice as to which schools their children may attend (as long as an application is on file for school choice), so don't let that stand in your way of your dream home--you can pretty much move anywhere in the county and have your children go where you choose. As far as subdivisions, I love Pebble Creek. It is a large, upscale area on the golf courses in Taylors, which feed great schools. Our home is for sale on 15 Applejack Lane in Pebble Creek with plenty of room for your children--they would love our huge recreation room downstairs--plus we have a fenced-in back yard. It is a little bit steep, but nothing that would prevent them from romping in the woods. You would love our hardwood floors, granite counters, and stainless appliances. There is a ton of privacy in Pebble Creek. It is very established with large trees and homes continue to appreciate. It is consistently voted one of Greenville's best neighborhoods. I don't know your price range, but Pebble Creek is worth the money. Botany Woods is also a very nice area in Taylors, again established feeding great schools. Check out our house--it's phenomenal!!! Thanks, Rebeca becajon@bellsouth.net

Kim, Brushy Creek elementary and Mitchell Road elementary are two of the best school districts on the east side of town near Taylors and Greenville.

We are currently listing our house at 122 LeGrae Lane, Taylors, for $179,900, which is substantially higher than what we bought it for when we first moved here. The east side of Greenville/Taylors, holds it value well due to its close proximity to everything.

Call if you'd like to see our house.

Hello again Kim
Sounds like you are really in a turmoil as to what area the best schools are in. May I ask you a few questions by personal email? I know the area well and think I can help but it's not as easy as ABC, most of our schools are very good. Please go to my website noted below and email me from there. I will watch for your email.
