I'm finding some Townhouses in these location listed above around $300K. Are they good properties?
- is it pedestrian friendly?
- are they good quality properties?
- any good / bad experiences if you or you have lived there?
- is it senior citizen friendly?
- are they at least 1000 sq feet?
- are the properties well maintained?
- any info would be great!

Thanks

The location is West Gate which was built as a condominium project in the 1980's. It's entrance is off of Route 46 just before the entrance to the GW Bridge.

Now, as for pedestrian friendly, I'm pretty sure it is but I'm hedging a bit because many streets don't connect so a lot of it is self contained if not all of it which means you're close to things but you have to walk around the the perimeter of the entire complex. Sorry but I just don't remember it well enough to say for sure. However, the best place to go to for any property is http://www.walkscore.com

Construction is typical of that era and I have had no personal experiences there as I've never lived there. It's a well maintained complex. As for senior citizen friendly, there are one floor units on the ground floor which would be good for seniors.

I really don't know the square footage and in looking at some listings, there is no figure given but my guess is that it's a bit under 1000 sq ft - more like 900-950 for the small units.

Traffic can be heavy there because you are literally on Route 46 where you enter but inside the complex it's quiet and the only traffic is from the residents.

Right now there are many units for sale so you have a lot to choose from. There's a community room, exercise room, children's playground, adult and kiddee pools. The entrance is gated 24/7 with a guard.

That's about all I can tell you for now.

those units are at the Westgate complex. i have never lived there but few people I know who lived there seemed to like it there.

the ones you mentioned above are all the ones on the 1st floor,, which many people don't like since they seem like a "ground floor" unit and that people walking by can see into the unit. these ones on the 1st floor only have 1 bathroom and the square footage is a bit under 1000

there are other units in the complex that are larger. ones with garage and multi levels and 3rd floor units with lofts.

the property is pretty well maintained and has a fairly large indoor pool and a fitness area.

locationwise, it's right off route 46 and if you are facing 46, or near the gate, it tends to get a little noisy trying to get onto route 46 will be a bit difficult during rushhour

hope this helped abit~
