I am interested in the houses on Route 940, Old Route 940 and Firehouse Rd in Pocono Pines. The houses seems to be built at roughly the same time. The architecture is similar too. I am interested very much in the real estate community who had experience in the houses on the above roads. Is it a good idea to buy houses there ? Is there any trap, any bad experiences ? Are the houses there worth their values , etc.... ? Is it too close to traffic noises ? Any high crimes area ? etc... Both good and bad reasons to buy houses there are greatly appreciated.

The architecture on this route is similar. The only con is that route 423 is a major road. There will certainly be through traffic. This is something to consider especially if you have children. My partner lives on this road and says it never bothers her until she comes to my house to visit and realizes how much more quiet it can be on other streets. It also seems to have a longer turn around time when it comes time to sell because many buyers don't want to be on a main road. However, this would be perfect if you trying to get a great deal as there are many located on these roads at great prices right now. Let me know if you have any other questions. 570-242-9681.

James - I am familiar with houses on that road and know a few people that live there, including one of my partners.

Based on your questions, it seem that it is time to sit with a real estate professional who can work with you and guide you through the many things that concern you.
