This a pretty old question....are you still looking Renee?

I have to say that it is interesting and it really does not take a degree in rocket science to figure out when people like Renee ask questions on Trulia that they would not be here if the wanted to contact local Realtor.

It is a total disservice to the people asking questions here at Trulia when some one posts as an answer to "contact a local Realtor" or to find a person ( that specializes in that field) in your area to help you. I think that they already know how to do that.

Why rent, when you, too can buy. Check out this detached 40s home on a large lot... Good luck!

Check out rent.com, realtor.com, and craigslist.com. That’s where you’ll find the most rental listings. You might also check with one of the property managers in your local area to see what they have or will have in the near future.

You could visit my website, www.manatulberg.com. Under property search you could search for properties in Somis, Ca. This is a service free of charge and no obligations.

Craigs List is a great place to start. Also contact a local Realtor and see if any homes are available for lease.

I would check on Yahoo, craigslist.com apartment.com and your local property management company.

There are quite a few internet resources you can use including: www.craigslist.com (if you are near a major metropolitan city), www.apartments.com, www.apartmentguide.com, www.rent.com.

Also, if you're looking for a rental in your local area then keep your eyes open for "For Rent" signs. Landlords and property management companies usually post those signs whenever they are searching for tenants. Good luck!
