I need a small home in NOrth Alabama or Tennessee, in good shape, near stores, for 30,000 ASAP

I am poor, have no car, need a private yuard though, a home with storm shelter or basement and near enough to walk a mile or so to doctors and stores, etc.. The home must be in decent shape, 2 bedrooms or more, and have a yard where timid cats won't be afraid or get run over. I'd like it near fishing if possible. I can pay around 30,000 or rather that's what I'm approved for.

There are multiple listings in the area that fall into the price range you're looking for. You can search for listings in our area athttp:// www.searchtheshoals.com or I would be happy to email you listings in your range. If you'd like to provide me with your email address you can email me at: jennifer.harbin@century21.com and I can send you the listings. You can browse thru them and see which ones meet your needs.

There is a listing for $29,900 in Sheffield, Alabama. It is 3 br, 1 bath with a fenced yard, 86x100 lot, 1050 square feet, hardwood floors under the carpet, vinyl siding, detached storage building, public sidewalks. Sounds close to what you need so it is possible. Hope this helps!

Have you contacted a local real estate agent? Buyers typically do not pay a commission on the sale of property -- don't hesitate to walk in and tell your agent exactly what you've outlined in your question! Any real estate professional can do a search on the Multiple Listing Services to see if there is a home in your area that meets your needs.

Good Luck! Theres a home out there for everyone - you just have to get out there and have the right person looking for you!
