I am a young/single professional. I was wondering what area would be best? I don't know the area at all.... The job would be located in Fort Myers. I'm kind of looking for an area with a younger feel, will be renting. Thanks!!

Kelly, I've got a great agent that helped my husband I buy a place in Estero, which is between Ft. Myers and Naples. Send me a quick email and I'll connect you with her - she and her husband work together, and her son ,so you've got the bases covered --- collectively they know the area really well and are pleasant, service driven.

Send me an email and I'll set you right up with them.

Best,

Kelly,

You might want to reconsider renting. There are many, many real estate opportunities that may provide both ownership and savings.

Yesterday we closed on a home 30 minutes north of Ft. Myers....a reasonnavble commute. 2001 construction, 3/2/2, move in condition that closed for $59,500. The monthly mortgage payment is an unbelievable $300. If you add insurance and taxes, your total monthly expense is still going to be in the $800 range AND you own it.

There are other opportunities like this in the Port Charlotte area. If you would like additional information, we would be happy to hear from you.

Good luck

Hi Kelly,
The river district is the downtown area that is being renovated. It has a lot of cool bars and new years party etc. Everything you would expect from a downtown area. South Fort Myers is closer to the beach look into reflection lakes. It is the heart and you can get around easy big hit with young singles. Check out our local paper http://www.news-press.com and they have a great rental section.
Best of luck,
Nancy
