I've not heard of that contractor before either. That doesn't mean he's not good, just unknown. I would recommend Coffman Construction. Mr Coffman lives in Tierra Verde and has done work for me and several people that I know, all with good results. His phone is 727-327-3031.

That's great that you found a quality contractor you are comfortable with. I use to live in Tierra Verde and sell many properties there. I cannot say I've heard of this company before but I know Tierra Verde is a small community and if you go to the hardware store in TV and ask your neighbors...they may be able to give you feedback. Always ask for referrences as well as photos of other jobs. If they have satisifed clients, they will be happy to share their information and you can see first hand the quality of their work! If you go to my florida license.com see the link below - you can check out to see is someone is licensed. Put in his first and last name and if there was ever a complaint. I usually ask for professional and personal references - people who are in business that he has worked with i.e. other trades men or some proof of previous projects either under his own license or when he was employed with someone else. Also get proof of his insurance and workers comp. I haven't heard of him myself but there are a lot of contractors out there.
