Tumbleweedsw…, Other/Just Looking in Georgetown, Seattle,...

I'm looking for a 1-3 room space with high ceilings under 2500 sq ft. in SoDo, Georgetown or Pioneer Square.

Asked by Tumbleweedsweb, Georgetown, Seattle, WA Sun Jul 24, 2011

I am interested in operating a recording studio and looking for a lease for an existing recording studio, warehouse, private office or other commercial space. It would need to be in a generally quiet area so I'm thing SoDo, Georgetown or Pioneer Square. 1-3 rooms, high ceilings under 2500 sq ft. HVAC or A/C would be a plus.

Craigslist is definitely a great source for this type of information sourcing. Here are a couple of additional options possibly - not sure of ceiling heights in either list:

Also try looking under a commercial leasing site as well.... the search words like "recording studio space for lease seattle" should work fine...in fact there is an ad request similar to your's - possibly it is yours?

I have a house for sale in the Highland Park neighborhood that has a detached building that was renovated into a recording studio and has HVAC and A/C as well as a bathroom with shower. The property is on the market for $265K and the house is 3bd/1.5 ba. Have you considered purchasing your own space either to live in or rent out?

The best place to look is in Craigs list for rentals, or talk to other artists you know. that is about it as far as I know.
Good luck to you.
