Kathleen Het…, Renter in Austin, TX

I'm a UT engineering student looking to create low income housing opportunities in Austin. Ideas for contacting subject matter experts would be great!

SME being public workers(HUD etc), non profits, realtors dealing in this specific market, and those who are currently unhappy with their current housing situation or having trouble finding low income options in Austin. Thanks!

There should be a way. You have to register with the State first. Did you purchase some investment properties already? I am a foreclosed and shortsale specialist and investment specialist. Let me know if you need any help

Simple. Contact the Housing Authority of the City of Austin for Section 8 Housing. Here is the site address

Then contact me and let me do what I do best, my job.

Not so simple! Downtown Austin may be liberal but it's not as friendly to developers as one would think. I've known people that have had to build duplexes where previously they were allowed to build multi-unit housing. In addition, not everyone in Austin is friendly having Section 8 housing in their neighborhood. Again, you need the right team: realtor, architect + planning specialist.

First, what is your main objective? Do you want to be a landlord, generate monthly cashflow for personal wealth development or are you simply looking for a job. Your question is somewhat vague in this sense.

Second, Real Estate Development requires the right team of people that understand the ins and outs of sourcing land, hiring architects and contractors and taking on the planning process. Then there's fund development... whose your banker....

I have 20+ years developing all kinds of Real Estate. If you are looking to get into development or acquisition, give me a call (512) 800-1316.
