Kstar, below is a link that shows you all schools in Clear Lake and their rating. This site is greatschools.org

http://www.greatschools.org/search/search.page?state=TX&…

This link shows you all schools located in the same zipcode as NASA.

If you find a highly rated school, there is a good neighborhood nearby.

Good Luck!

CCISD is a fantastic school district. Same goes for Friendswood ISD. My office is in off of Nasa Rd. I would love to assist you. Both have good homes in great communities.

Alvin and Pearland school districts are both good locations. There are a lot of great subdivisions I'm both of these areas. Quality builders. I'm not a realtor but I am a home inspector who has inspected plenty of homes in the area. Great homes in the Webster Clear Lake area but a little pricey. Pearland is a little more than Alvin, Manvel, Rosharon but all are within your 30 mile radius.
Give me a call if I can answer any home concerns (713) 494-3721

One of my favorite websites is http://www.greatschools.com. It allows you to compare school by school vs. by school district ratings. I would recommend obtaining a Realtor that can set up a custom search for you based on your needs. As homes are identified that you like, you can go to the website and look at school ratings for that area. There are a lot of areas with good commute times that are in great school districts, so this should help you a lot. I am happy to assist you more - feel free to contact me at (713) 515-2135 or at valery@valsthekey.com.

There's no need to commute that distance, since the schools in the immediate area of your worksite should be fine. Assuming that you'll be leasing, we'll need a little more information to be able to help ...

What is your budget? What type of home are you seeking (single-family, townhome, apartment)?
How many bedrooms/bathrooms?
Do you have any specific wants or needs (yard, pool, fireplace, etc.)?
Are there any pets? If so, what are they, and how large?
Do you smoke?
Have there been any credit or prior landlord/tenant issues?

If you'll get back to us, I'm certain we can be of assistance.

Welcome to Houston!

Good afternoon, I apologize I did not get to your email sooner. I am a local real estate broker and own Premier Properties Realty & Management. I work and live in the Clear Lake / League City area. Although I do sell and represent clients purchase property in the area, I also work and sell properties in all area's of Houston and the surrounding areas. I am more then happy to assist you look for the perfect home in all areas in and around Clear Lake, League City, Pearland, Webster, Seabrook and any other area you may like. CCISD is said to be one of the best school districts. If you were to choose to live close to NASA you will basically be in the district unless you go to the Pearland area. Pearland also is said to have one of the best school districts. If you have not already, I would say to GOOGLE elementary school reviews for the League City, Seabrook, Pearland and Houston Suburbs. This will of course allow you to see what other parents say rather then just taking the word of a real estate agent.

Now if you would like me to assist you, please feel free to email me at Daniel@pmrproperties.com what you are looking for as in price, what schools you may have found you would like your child to be in, size and any other particular's. Please also email me all your contact info and when would be the best time to call to discuss finding you the perfect home in more detail. Feel free to also look up my references on Linked In.

Thanks so much and I look forward to assisting you.

Thank You,

30 miles will allow you to live in downtown Houston to Galveston. Do you like more residential or urban? If schools are a top priority, then there are some great neighborhoods nearby. Go with Bay Oaks. If you like more urban, then go up to Bellaire / Meyerland for great schools.

The schools are reported to be very good in that area. Clear Creek, Friendswood and Pearland schools are always popular. You may want to research those schools. I have several links on my web site to assist. http://www.markknowshouston.com/res_list.php?cat=12285&c…

Where to live? There are many options. The direct area around NASA (Seabrook) can be a bit pricey. Farther west you go and away from the water (Clear Lake and Galveston Bay) the better the prices. Are you thinking about buying or leasing? When will you be in town?

Let us know what we can do to assist you.

The Clear Lake area or Friendswood are both close and have excellent school. They both have excellent schools. You can check the school ratings on the TEA website. I believe Friendswood has a little higher rating. Both districts are excellent. NASA is in Clear Lake so if you are picking your 8 year old up or taking him/her to school it will be close.
