I am interested in relocating somewhere south of Montgomery. I've been told Baldwin county

is a good choice. Any recommendations as to which area? I prefer not too close to the beach.

I would recommend that you look at the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, within the following communities-Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Daphne, Point Clear, Magnolia Springs. These are all communities with a high quality of life, access to good schools and shopping, lovely homes. Right now is a great time to buy on the Eastern Shore as we are experiencing the best market conditions that buyers have seen in decades. Please don't stall! Our inventory is high, interest rates are still low, prices are great! Plus, we are located right across the bay from Mobile, and just 45 minutes from Pensacola. Everything you need is close by and this is one of the most beautiful areas in the South. My husband and I searched throughout the Southeast for the best place to move after living in Atlanta for 26 years. We searched from the mountains to the beaches, and found our perfect home in Fairhope, Alabama. That was 10 years ago, and we have never regretted our choice. The eastern shore has so much to offer-and I would be happy to talk with you about our serene lifestyle, and our wonderful towns. Liz Hoffman, Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties, Inc. -251-367-3602

Well welcome to Southern Alabama, it's a great place to be. Baldwin County, Eastern Shore is a more bedroom type community, yet ony 15 minutes from downtown Mobile. Also wisdom is in your favor with regards to area selection. Daphne, Spanish Fort, Fairhope are desired locations. Take a look at the inventory work with a Buyers Agent and Smile and Start Packing.

Hello Hal,

As another Realtor who lives in Baldwin County, I will enthusiastically recommend that you relocate here!

I'm not impartial, though. I grew up here. I've lived in Bay Minette, Daphne, Gulf Shores, and Fairhope.

Which area of the county you live in does depend on the lifestyle you want, whether you like the peace and quiet of the woods of north Baldwin, or a cosmopolitan experience involving lots of art and community activities in Fairhope, or a nice piece of land to garden on around the central part of the county.

Personally, I am an ambassador for the Fairhope area, and would love for you to take the time to see the fantastic bayfront parks, public fishing and crabbing pier, our great new public library, and the Art Center in Fairhope!! You can see a few photos of the Fairhope area at the websitehttp:// www.BeautifulFairhope.com, shown below.

All the best and hope to have you as a new neighbor,

Dan

Hi Hal!

Baldwin County is an excellent choice. I moved here from Atlanta and couldn't be happier. You indicated that you did not want something too close to the beach. Is this due to insurance costs or just preference? Also, what is your lifestyle like? Do you enjoy alot of community events, or a more rural setting. I would rather make a recommendation based on your personal needs. Many places in Baldwin County are great, but for different reasons. Please feel free to contact me through my website or take a look at the links below that may offer some helpful, local information.

Hi Hal , I am from Baldwin County and it is a great place to be. North Baldwin would be be ideal (Bay Minette, Stockton, Stapleton or Spanish Fort). The beach would be a close enought for a day outing. The area has a lot to offer rivers, creeks , sports. The area is also rich in history. If you want to know more about the area or homes. Email me at vicki.bishop@cbunited.com
