Mandarin and NW St. Johns County are both excellent choices to relocate to. St. Johns County is known for it's excellent School system and lower tax base, and Mandarin has excellent schools as well. Other areas you might consider would be the Baymeadows/Deerwood area, and the Intracoastal West area. NW St. Johns County would be the longest commute, but possibly one of your best choices if you are looking at school options.

Dallas,
This is such a great area. Congratulations on moving to our Area. I work in the Mandarin and Southside area. You can get homes from 200,000 to 400,000 and higher, just depending on the particular neighborhoods. If you'd like t.o check out my website, it's the actually JaxMLS that you can search 24/7 by yourself. http://www.JaxMLS.Listingbook.com . Do you have kids? If you need information about the schools, go to http://www.greatschools.net to check out the different schools. THe traffic can get pretty bad, so you should let your Realtor know what time limit you want your commute to not be over.
If you have any other questions, please ask, and I'd love to help you. I work with MANY relocations, in fact, I can send you a relocation packet, if you'd like!
Just let me know how I can help you best!
