I am 19 and moving to estero, florida. Is it a difficult community to get to know?

I am moving to Estero in a week and my roommate who has already lived down in Florida for a couple of years now is leaving for a week right when I get down there and I am really nervous about driving and tyring to find places by myself. So I was just wondering if Estero is an easy place to get around, as far as driving and directions. Any advice or information about the area would be REALLY helpfull!!

Cristal, Estero is a VERY easy area to learn. There is A LOT to do as well. I think you'll figure it out fairly quickly. Try making some friends at FGCU, Miromar Outlets or Coconut Point Mall. Good luck!

FIRST ANSWER
Welcome to FL Cristal. You shouldn't have much trouble getting around. Estero is between two large cities, Naples to the south and Ft Myers to the north. If you stick to the main roads you should be ok.
Search the internet for maps and to find out what's in the area.
