The City of Detroit offers some information on their website http://www.ci.detroit.mi.us/Departments/PlanningDevelopmentD…

The State of Michigan may also provide assistance through MSHDA http://michigan.gov/mshda

The Department of Urban Development provides Housing Counseling and other services on their website http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/hcc/hcs.cfm?webListAction…
