In Florida, title to mobile homes fill two categories - one where the owner of the mobile home also owns the land on which it sits. Transfer of ownership generally passes through a warranty deed - just like a stick-built home. Therefore, here you can look up the address in the assessor's public records page and find information about the mobile home. IF the mobile home sits on land that is NOT owned by the owner, transfer of ownership passes by a bill of sale. Here, if the mobile home is on land owned by the owner, a real estate licensee may sell that property. Good luck.
